Segregation of Duties Policy

In recent months the SCEIS Segregation of Duties policy, jointly developed by SCEIS, Procurement Services, the Comptroller General’s Office and Human Resources Division, has been reviewed with various stakeholders and leaders throughout State agencies. This policy is a critical component in our effort to minimize the risk of fraud or error.

During the April 2014 User Group meeting an overview presentation of the policy was provided along with a link to the policy.  These documents are also readily available below and should be shared with management throughout State agencies. Each agency is responsible for awareness and implementation of internal controls to ensure the appropriate review and assignment of system access.
